The NetIDE Network Engine enables portability and cooperation= inside a single network by using a client/server multi-controller architec= ture. Separate =E2=80=9CClient SDN Controllers=E2=80=9D host the various SD= N Applications with their access to the actual physical network abstracted = and coordinated through a single =E2=80=9CServer SDN Controller=E2=80=9D, i= n this instance OpenDaylight. This allows applications written for Ryu/Floo= dlight/Pyretic to execute on OpenDaylight managed infrastructure.
NetIDE Network Engine Architecture
The project also includes an IDE to allow application develop= ers develop and test their applications, including a graphical editor to sp= ecify network topologies, a UI for deployment configurations, editors to sp= ecify network environments for simulation, as well as a supporting toolsuit= e (debuggers, profilers, model checkers)
